Ride the whoopdee as an out and back. Soon to be a loop finishing on logging roads. The old entry point is 3.9 miles up Old Dalles road from East Side Road. There is a tilted 4 x 4 post on your left at the trail head where the old Whoopdee sign was. Start here and ride south. After the 3rd Whoopdee you can ride back or continue on the long downhill. In approx 2 miles after the 3rd whoop when the down hill meets the logging road and there is no more trail you can ride back the way you came. Out and back described here is approx 12 miiles. The whoopdee has been out of commission since about 2006 due to land owner harvesting scale weakened trees. Read below about SDS. The old trail has been re-claimed and the destroyed trail re-routed. Please be kind to all trails. Stay on trail, do not ride when it is muddy. Steward- Steve Dunn CAMBA
