Type: Loop
Length: 8.8 Miles
Time: 1.5 to 2.5 hours
Aerobic: Strenuous
Technical: Intermediate
Season: Late spring through fall.
Land Status: MHNF/Barlow Ranger District

Trailhead: From Hood River, head 31 miles south on hwy. 35 to forest road 44 on the left. Drive up road 44 5.4 miles to the Bottle Prairie trailhead on the left. (1 hour)

The loop is ridable, but watch for trees that fell after it was logged out due to high winds. Also, be ready to walk across some surprisingly deep areas of snow. The DaKine trail is in great shape!

Highlights: Either by itself, or combined with the High Prairie or Eight Mile Creek Loops, this loop is great riding. Expect lots of banked corners, small waterbar jumps and tight singletrack. Just for good measure throw in several creek crossings and some tough climbs.

Note: Avoid these trails in late summer due to thick dust.
